Glenrothes 10 year oldPart of the new Warehouse No. 1 release, this is an interesting dram. Finished in a first fill Calvados Barrique as part of Claxton's maturation programme, this Glenrothes has taken on a lot of qualities from the Calvados cask making it buttery rich with plenty of oakiness. Nose: Rich spices. Buttery rich. Honeycomb. Biscuity. Palate: Malty rich with an oak smoke with vanilla and cloves. Finish: Long finish with sherbet and oak in the aftertaste. 70cl
